Big Day of Giving is May 4

Big Day of Giving is an opportunity for our region to come together and support the organizations that make our community strong by donating to local nonprofits. You can support SARA's work on behalf of the American River and Parkway by giving online beginning at midnight on May 4, or by scheduling a gift in advance starting April 20. The minimum gift is $15—even small donations make a big difference and have the chance to be boosted by up to $100,000 in prizes.

Annual Membership

We invite you to join us in protecting the priceless asset represented by the American River and Parkway. It is SARA's belief that one of the most important contributions we can make to the Parkway is to grow our membership - to enhance our voice to a level that cannot possibly be ignored by the elected stewards of the Parkway. SARA depends on our members and friends for the financial and human resources needed to carry on our mission. You will receive our newsletter, RiverWatch, and be placed on our alert list which provides information about events on the Parkway.
